I genuinely had this on my mind and need to ask who else thinks we are the Mary Sues of the gta series?
We own so many businesses and properties from simple stuff to nightclubs, arcades, auto shops (about all of which are fronts for crime really) to stuff like government facilities, bunkers, and submarines alongside fleets of supercars and weaponized air and ground vehicles.
Plus it feels like everyone overly compliments us to some degree sometimes and we instantly become best friends with whatever character is involved in the intro cutscenes for a new property you buy despite barely knowing them beforehand.
Feels like we are Mr or Ms. perfect. Like we are some sort of ultimate being to basically fan fiction degree. Anyone else feel this way?

Before I begin, let me state that this is not financial advice. Before investing capital, everyone should always do their own research.
This is a detailed analysis, so if you don't like to read too much you can check out the major marketing initiatives and tokenomics at the bottom, but you'd be missing out on a bunch of awesome information.
# The Meme Craze.
Meme coins have gained massive popularity this year and have been in circulation for some time. They have garnered huge attention since the Gamestop saga in January, where Reddit chat room traders drove up the share price of the US video game seller Gamestop.
People are tossing tons of money into stocks or random coins not because they believe there’s something significantly different about the underlying value of the asset, but because it became popular somewhere on the internet and they think it's funny or somewhat cool. They buy into hype generated on platforms like Reddit, Twitter and TikTok without even questioning or taking measures to validate the claims the project made. Crypto is likely the epitome of all of this, as well as all of the chaos and perplexity that comes with it.
Due to this high amount of projects being released on a daily basis, it's nearly impossible to keep the overview in terms of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Over the past months, we've seen many sad and unfortunate events happen in the meme cryptoverse. Epic pump and dumps, monumental scam coins, rug pulls. Nevertheless, there was, is and always will be hope on the horizon.
But like a gold rush, the noise-to-signal ratio is very high and it's difficult to make the right investment decisions for yourself that let you fall asleep with a lasting feeling of confidence and security.
For me, Dogedi is one of those projects.
Born on November 27, 2021, it has set its sights on becoming more than just another beta in the midst of the massive flood of new projects and meme tokens. It combines security, simplicity, cutting-edge tokenomics (hyperdeflationary, strategic buybacks, rewards, tokenburns) NFT, metaverse, charity and much more.
# What is Dogedi?
Dogedi is the first token inspired by the Star Wars universe. The idea is undoubtedly a winning one to stand out among the many coins that are born every day. In fact, the idea of taking the iconic Doge and making him a Jedi master will certainly not go unnoticed. The graphic impact of the entire project is studied in detail and captivating, hard to ignore.
Dogedi is the first project to introduce the original Everrise buyback mechanism + Tiki BNB autoclaim rewards system in the cryptocurrency space. In addition to these, it also includes periodic tokenburns that will increase the value of the token over the time.
The buyback function exchanges liquidity from the reserve liquidity pool for Dogedi tokens in the main liquidity pool. These tokens are automatically sent to the burn wallet. This adds value to the liquidity pool of the token, and permanently constricts supply.
Billions of tokens will be burned and removed forever from the circulating supply. As all of these tokens will be bought from the market, sold and destroyed forever, this will create a true supply constriction which makes Dogedi hyper-deflationary. 4% on buy or 7% on sell transactions is taken and redistributed to all holders with a minimum of 200 billion tokens every hour.
As you see, Dogedi have put together a solid string of wins to position themselves among the leading projects in this space.
# Who’s the Team behind Dogedi?
The Dev team of Dogedi is 100% doxed and have run through KYC with SolidProof, a top notch certification company under the European laws and regulations. This means that SolidProof has all the required documents, physical addresses, passports and any other forms of ID in regards to the Devs of the Project.
On top of that SolidProof monitors all activities within the team wallets 24/7 and would immediately report to authorities the very first second any willingly harm to the project is detected.
The Team currently consists of 12 people, all professionals in their areas of expertise (development, graphics, illustrators, SEO, videomakers, etc.), and all are responsible for successful launches in the past. At the moment for obvious security reasons their data have not been disclosed (but it is not excluded that they will do so in the future) but they are regularly deposited with Solidproof for certification, and this protects them from any scam attempts.
The smart contract of Dogedi was audited twice(!) already.

# Drivers of Value:
**1st Driver of Value:**
`The BNB Reward System, Tokenburns and the Autoboost function (Deathstar)`
**Reflections:**
Holders are additionally “auto-staked” instantly receiving 4% or 7% (depending on buy or sell fees) of the transaction volume in BNB rewards via autoclaim, all you have to do is hodl.
To be eligible for getting rewards, you need a minimum of 200B of Dogedi tokens held in your wallet.
Holders can watch their wallet grow in real-time via the dashboard:
**Autoboost:**
The autoboost / buyback function, also called Deathstar, is funded by a strategic buyback fee of 6%.
Tokens collected are converted into BNB and securely locked and stored in the Dogedi contract and also called strategic reserves.
When the Death Star gets activated, tokens will be bought from the open market and immediately burned afterwards. This creates a true burn, which means that the real value is exchanged for the tokens that are sent to the burn wallet.
**2nd Driver of Value:**
`Bankerdoge Staking Integration of Dogedi`
BankerDoge is a DeFi as a Service platform designed to add features such as staking, time-locking and DeFi lending to any BSC token.
Their vaults support modern tokenomics like reflection and dual token rewards.
BankerDoge comes with the support of experienced and advanced individuals who are fully doxed. They are aiming to expand their footprint by building this new project that actually works together with their first.
The core team, based in the United States, are all college graduates who have worked with major corporations like DELL, HP, Disney, Wells Fargo and more.
As of January 15, 2022 anyone who holds 50b+ Dogedi can use Bankerdoge's staking vault to earn rewards. Furthermore, those who have more than 200 billion DOGEDI can continue to receive rewards even with staking! For a double reward ...the rewards of staking will be directly in BUSD.

**3rd Driver of Value:**
`The NFT Card Game and Metaverse Integration`
The technical department is working on a series of implementations related to the world of NFTs. This will ensure that their NFT marketplace will soon have full integration into a Dogedi Card Game.
The team has not yet provided full details, but there will soon be a trailer that will cover the card game which should reveal more information. The only things that, for now, are known, are that it will be integrated into the new Facebook Metaverse (marketplace for cards but also battles between players in virtual arenas with VR) and that it will be an NFT collectible card game, with which the collectors can challenge each other and which will have different levels of power and skill depending on when the card is purchased. Of course it will be possible to buy the cards only with Dogedi.
**4th Driver of Value**
`The Charity Program`
In addition to the card game project, Dogedi will also deal with charity. As animal lovers, their team plans a series of initiatives in which the community will actively participate (with surveys and other activities) to support associations that deal with saving and relocating abandoned animals, which as we know during the Covid-19 epidemic are increased exponentially.
**5th Driver of Value**
`The Starwars Universe`
Star Wars fans are not a niche group.
They’re actually a highly diverse audience, making up 1 in 4 internet users worldwide.
Passionate about a variety of topics, Star Wars fans utilize online spaces to discuss their interests.
In fact, Star Wars fans are 36% higher likelihood to tweet a question about a brand, company or product.
Their support is not only important for generating interest among others. Brands like Dogedi will benefit from these fans’ loyal behavior, as 2 in 3 say once they find a brand they like, they are likely to stick with it. The prosperity and the joy of communities flourish when values such as solidarity, education, creativity, love of work and cooperation, exist in harmony within them.
By understanding this audience’s motivations and desires, brands can ensure they don’t land on their dark side.
After all, they’re certainly a force to be reckoned with.
# A Rapidly Growing Market
Cryptocurrencies are a rapidly growing market segment. The whole industry is only in its infancy and constantly evolving. Mainstream companies across industries have taken interest, and in some cases themselves invested in crypto and blockchain tech lately.
Firms like Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and BlackRock have announced or expanded their digital asset efforts in recent months, this growth in institutional interest makes it likelier that a round of big institutional money will be entering the cryptocurrency space in the months to come. Each of these new participants will be designing exchanges, products, dApps and solutions to adapt to the needs of the new challenges.
Whether you like it or not, it will build up confidence in the crypto space for a broader mass of people, and it will open the water tap and let in a flood of new users and investors.
# When Lambo?
You've most probably heard about this phrase somewhere before, a question that often appears in conversations about cryptocurrencies. It simply means: ‘when are we going to get rich?’ Because of the increasing value of crypto coins many people earned a lot of money. It is therefore tempting to buy cryptocurrencies because it seems so easy.
But the team of Dogedi even goes one step further and get serious about this phrase.
They have just announced a triple giveaway, where you can actually win three awesome cars.
-
**Lamborghini Aventador**
-
**Bmw i8**
-
**Tesla Model S.**
All the wallets that have bought and not sold at least 50b of DOGEDI from 20 December onwards, can be part of the giveaway.
How awesome is that?

TLDR: Holy shit the suspension is so harsh.
So my boss, who drives a brand new X6M comp, offered to give me a ride home. I said yes and when I first sat in the car, I was amazed but the interior quality. When he started the thing I was in love with the exhaust note. but then, he started driving.
The moment he started driving I noticed that the ride was harsh, extremely hard and rough. Even the tiniest speed bumps like they were sending all the vibrations to my spine.
I asked him "damn, the suspension is so harsh, why dont you turn on comfort mode."
he then showed me on the screen, that literally all the car settings were on the softest comfort setting. And thats what really blew my mind.
It is an X6, a big suv, its not a track day supercar, yet the suspension is rock hard.
right now I cant even imagine what a real track car is like, will something like a m5CS actually deform my spine because of the suspension?

Hi there, i started playing FH5 3 days ago or so. i find myself gravitating towards 1-3cars 90% of the time.
i was curious to see if there are big downsides to this, or if others are the same as well.
My current favourite car is the "Ford Escort RS Cosworth WRC "cossie V2" 1994". It feels so responsive and accurate to the input when playing.
I love doing rallies, dirt tracks and cross country and I have yet to find one I prefer over this. I'm trying to get better with other cars, but i just find myself going back to ol' faithful. The street/drift cars and supercars are the ones im having the hardest time with currently.

I thought it might have been a Lambo, but Google says probably not. It was on EF from the interstates making the turn toward St Bernard Parish. Said "twin turbocharged" on the fender. There wasn't any manufacture's name on the back, only a shield-shaped decal on the rear window, which I couldn't make out. Thanks.

Hi!
Not sure if iracing has updated recently but I’ve noticed when I downshift the car isn’t responding and is keeping the car in a high gear which obviously shifts the weight and makes it much harder to brake and turn.
I’ve checked to see if I had a faulty paddle and I do not. This problem appears in radical and supercar racing from what I’ve noticed so far.
Is anyone else having this problem? It’s almost as if there’s a downshift limiter to protect the engine which I find odd and it’s kind of putting me off the game.
Sometimes I’ll be in 5th hard breaking to get down to 2nd and I’ll still be in 4th, frustrating!
Any details/info on this would be great.
Thanks

As someone who is passionate about cars, I like to share a little bit of my candid experience with different cars I have owned and give some real-world insights on what they are like on a day-to-day basis. So, I wanted to share some of my perceptions of owning the new Corvette C8 for 90 days and my experience with it out on the road!
Ordering Process & Wait
To start, actually getting a C8 at MSRP was a very long and tedious process. All-in-all, it took me just shy of 9 months to actually get my hands on one. Before committing to placing a deposit, I jumped back in forth multiple times as to whether I actually wanted to wait it out or just settle on something else. Ultimately, after test driving about a dozen different cars, a kind stranger let me tinker with his Vette in a Golf Galaxy parking lot one afternoon I knew it was worth the wait.
Before I could even place an order, I ended up speaking with a total of 18 different dealerships over a three-week span trying to find one that A. Sold at MSRP B. Didn't have a 50+ person/2-year waiting list and C. Didn't require a $5k non-refundable deposit. I placed a deposit with a dealership about 50 miles east of Nashville, TN in March 2021 and it ended up being one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had.
After many months of patiently waiting, they called me in early August to let me know I was next on the list for an allocation and would need to confirm that I would be okay with rolling into the '22 model year instead of a '21. This ended up being the best thing that happened as I was very intrigued by the new Hypersonic Grey color and changed at the last minute and ordered it sight-unseen.
I ended up picking my Vette up on October 4th, 2021.
As of today, I have put a total of 4,087 miles on it. During that time, I have taken it on a road trip from Nashville to Gatlinburg, TN, as well as a handful of 3+ hour round-trip weekend golf trips and a bowling tournament. That being said, I did NOT buy this car to be my daily driver and had no intention of putting that many miles on it. I have a Model 3 Performance that I use as a work vehicle as my day job requires me to be on the road 4 days out of the week and I put 28k miles on it last year alone. But, I enjoy driving that damn Vette so much, it's hard for me to justify pulling the Tesla out from the wall unless I have to.
Anyways, here is my experience with my car to date and some things I love and hate:
Things I Love:
Comfortability:
I have to say this has been the biggest surprise to me as the C8 has definitely positioned itself as much more of a grand touring car than its predecessors. I previously had a 2014 C7 and despite being in my late 20s, I have the lower back of someone on the tail-end of their mid-life crisis. While I loved driving my C7, I found it to be pretty uncomfortable for any drive over an hour as the seats weren't very supportive, the suspension was fairly rough, and road noise was pretty bad (not as bad as my Tesla..but that's a different story).
With the C8, the suspension is alarmingly good. As in, I had to triple-check Google to make sure they didn't actually put the air-ride suspension on a Corvette, kind of good. I went with the GT1 seats over the GT2 or competition seats and while they don't look *quite* as good, they are very well-padded while being supportive like a sporty seat should be. The driver's seat is also very roomy for how narrow it is and despite being a very driver-centric design it doesn't feel claustrophobic at all. But, I'm also 6' 175lbs, so I could see it still being a pretty tight fit for someone larger.
Road noise is also very well suppressed and insulated. It's not a Rolls, by any means, but it's obvious that road noise was something taken into consideration when designing the C8. Engine noise is also pretty well insulated from the cabin. Unless you get above 3500 RPM or do some heavy downshifting in manual mode, the only thing you can really hear is a light "tick" when the radio and AC are off. I was expecting a lot more engine noise from a big ole 'Merican pushrod V8 sitting a foot behind your ears.
Handling
Before I go too far into this: I have NOT tracked it..yet..but I have done plenty of "spirited" driving on the open backroads if you catch my drift. :) The first thing I did after I hit my 500 mile break-in period was flip it into track mode and throw it into a few corners. Obviously, the weight distribution of a mid-engine Corvette is going to vary greatly from anything front-engine, but the C8 just feels so much more.. refined than any car I've driven in the past. Honestly, it's one of the easiest sports cars to drive that I've ever owned and in a way, I actually would consider this a disappointment. Personally, I like a sports car that has a little "fight" to it when you push it hard, almost like trying to rope a bull if you will. But this just makes it so easy. It DOES oversteer a bit as many reviews have mentioned, but it's not very noticeable under 99% of driving conditions but that may change once we have our first track day together.
It also does very well in inclement weather. I've driven in hard rain, high winds, and I drove in a snowstorm on Sunday through slushy/lightly snowy roads and I felt completely confident behind the wheel. In my M3, I get a little apprehensive driving in bad weather despite it being AWD dual-motor as it doesn't react as well around corners and bends other cars do when there's any kind of standing water since it's so bottom-heavy and the regen braking has caused me to inadvertently start to hydroplane before.
Driving Modes and Launch Control
Another pleasant surprise for me is the variance and ability to customize driving modes and the effectiveness of launch control. Of the three GM sports cars that I've owned ('12 Camaro SS, '14 C7, '16 ATS-V) my biggest gripe is that there wasn't really a different "feel" or ability to customize driving modes other than Track Mode just shifted differently and opened the exhaust valves in the C7 and ATS-V. With the C8, being able to set up a "my mode" and "Z Mode" has been really nice as I can turn up the settings to make it feel the way I want and it ACTUALLY makes a difference on how the car drives, responds and feels.
The second gripe I've had with anything GM is that their launch control has historically been laughably bad. With the C8, it actually *works* and I love that there is a built-in 0-60 timer on the gauge cluster. Without launch control, I was clocking between 3.3-3.8, and with launch control, I was right at 2.8-3.1 almost every time. In my C7, I only got below 4.5 once with LC.
Styling/Quality
The obvious one here. But really, being able to admire it and person and see the intricacies of the design in person every day, it's really incredible how well they did. One thing I wasn't ready for is the amount of attention this thing gets. Despite enjoying nice cars, am not an attention-seeker and really prefer to kind of hide under the radar. That's why I went with the Hypersonic Grey on black as I *thought* it would be more subtle than red/blue/yellow. It's not. I literally cannot go anywhere in public without someone stopping me to ask about it or take pictures. I am always happy to talk cars with others but the amount of attention It gets is a lot to handle.
Overall quality has also been a big surprise. Corvettes, obviously have been known for being more of your "poor man's supercar" and have a lot of pretty blatant cost-cutting measures (I'm looking at you C6 with your malibu steering wheel!!!). I spent the first 48 hours looking through pretty much every nook and cranny of the car trying to figure out where they cheaped out and cut costs. There are a few very small things, but overall, they killed it. I am curious, though, how well a lot of the leather stitching on the dash will hold up over a 5-10 year timeframe.
Frunk:
I was pleasantly surprised with how deep and useful the frunk actually is. It's about a foot deeper than my Tesla, about the same width, and actually has carpeting, unlike my M3's hard plastic that makes stuff slide around. Trunk space was not my first consideration in buying a Corvette but its a very nice added bonus its an exact fit for a carry-on luggage bag (I'm sure this is purposeful).
Things I Hate:
Dual-Clutch Transmission/Touchy Transmission:
This is honestly kind of a big one and it's something I have some concern about in terms of long-term reliability when it comes to the C8. This has nothing to do with the fact that the C8 does not come in manual. Honestly, I used to be a huge manual purist, but even if this car did come in manual, I probably would have still gone with the auto/DCT as I've owned several DCT cars before and I've come to love them.
Rather, this has to deal with the actual inefficiency and jerkiness of the transmission as a whole. In some of the 20-21 models, there are several known issues with the transmissions and the car's CPU not jiving up and throwing up a "service transmission" code within the first 1,500 miles which in a few cases caused a full transmission replacement.
Supposedly, this was fixed with the 2022 models, but I have not been impressed with their first attempt at a DCT thus far. First, the car will have completely random fits where it will lurch and jerk really hard between downshifts from second to first between 15-17mph in both auto and manual. It will also jerk really bad sometimes and it feels like it lost power to the drivetrain when I lightly touch the pedal shortly after taking it out of park or being stopped for more than 30 seconds. It's almost like the CPU and transmission occasionally miscommunicate with each other. I had the service center look at it at 750 miles when I had my high-wing installed, and again at 2,000 and had the tranny fluid drained and there were no actual issues, it's just how it is. They have a long ways to go compared to Porsche's PDK, to say the least.
Stock Wheels:
Also referred to as the "transport wheels", and for good reason. Even the excruciatingly overpriced trident style wheels are terrible to me. I went with the black 19" by 20" 5-spoke wheels with the hideous machine edge which ruins the look for an extra $995 just because I wanted the all-season tires that come with them. I thought many of the C7 wheels were at least decent, but I really don't even like the new carbon fiber wheels on the upcoming Z06.
Sun Visor:
Petty, I know. But my LORD it is the saddest excuse for a sun visor ever. If you fold it out all the way, which it basically blocks all visibility except for about 2" of space unless you move the seat down all the way and move the steering wheel up. If you could move the piece closer to the windshield it wouldn't be a problem.
Infotainment System: I won't say it's bad, but it's not good, either. Overall, it's responsive and fairly easy to navigate and you can do some customization with it. But, there's a ton of redundant and relatively un-useful features wasting space that you have to scroll through to look through to find what you actually are looking for. It also has Apple/android car play..which apparently a lot of people like and I don't. I have an iPhone as a work phone and a Samsung as a person so I have used both and both systems are very buggy to me. Speakers absolutely bump, though!
Performance:
Okay, I spent a lot of time talking about how I loved the drivability, handling, driving modes, etc. I mean, this car really is every bit of a supercar and I will make that argument every day of the week. But.. more or less, the performance isn't necessarily a negative, per se, but it is very different from what my expectations were. In fact, for most people, this is probably a huge plus. It's fast, handles exceptionally well, it's responsive, but as I mentioned earlier.. it's just so EASY to drive. You can tell it's 495 horsepower, but it's about as manageable as a 3,300-pound car can get with that much power.
Generally, when I think of high-performance cars, there's a certain kind of hardcore level of difficulty that comes along with driving them and knowing how to handle something like that on the road (Think: Dodge Viper, GT500, GTR). For me, this is part of the excitement of owning a car like this. But, the C8 is something I would probably let my 16-year old baby sister cruise around town and not feel terrified about. This isn't necessarily a bad thing...but just very different from what I expected.
Overall, despite some of its flaws, I have been incredibly happy with the new Corvette and I am beyond thankful that I have the opportunity to own one and don't regret buying one!

They don't seem to pull to the right after a few seconds have passed, but it's pretty irritating having them pull hard to the right upon every launch. I've tested multiple cars which all do this, from a small RWD pickup truck to an AWD hot hatch to a mid engine supercar, so it's not torque steer either.
I use an old xbox controller I got off amazon for like 10 bucks, I'm not encountering the problem in any other game like Forza or GTA 5.

LOST MOMENTUM
After a torrid run the previous day, electric vehicle (EV) stock Nio lost momentum the last day of 2021 and was down about 1.1% as of 12:50 a.m. ET. A major development in China is to blame for Nio shares ending Dec. 31 on a muted note.
HERE'S WHY
This morning, China's Finance Ministry announced a steep cut in and eventual scrapping of subsidies it currently offers to buyers of new energy vehicles (NEV). The Ministry said NEV subsidies will be cut by 30% in 2022 and then stopped altogether after Dec. 31, 2022. China is the world's largest market for NEVs, which include all- electric as well as plug-in and hybrid electric vehicles. While subsidies initially fueled China's NEV boom, production and sales are on such a solid growth trajectory now that the nation believes it doesn't need to subsidize purchases anymore. For example, NEV sales in China hit a record in the month of November and accounted for nearly 21% of total passenger car sales during the month. China's NEV sales are expected to be around 3.3 million in 2021 and surge to 5 million units in 2022, according to S&P Global Platts.
WHATS NEXT
While it's true that the scrapping of subsidies will mean greater competition for Chinese EV makers like Nio, the move doesn't really come as a surprise as the Chinese government had cut subsidies for 2021 as well and had hinted of a phase-out. Moreover, the subsidies were primarily available for lower-priced cars, so that shouldn't hurt Nio much. What matters is what Nio is doing to beat competition.

Wow. That's really "big" power for a Ford. Too bad Ford had to build special "race only" 427s to do it and the vaunted "side oiler" is actually a WEAKER design overall thanks to the "upgraded" and "improved" lube system which did nothing but increase dramatically the number of "leak points" as well as significantly weaken the block thanks to extra galleries drilled and cast into it and all to make what was STILL not a real "priority main" lubrication system.
Unfortunately for Ford, "some +550hp on race gas" was a pretty poor showing at the time since in "Super Stock" NHRA drag racing classes without "factory support" of ANY kind "privateers" like Grumpy Jenkins were coaxing similar horsepower out of "factory stock' 396 Chevys with no "race only" parts required and with strict "claimer" and "teardown" rules in effect in the late 1960s thanks to the tendency of Ford to "bend the rules" it couldn't pay "officials" to make or not make specifically to benefit Ford.
Ford guys are all the time talking shit about Chevy and General Motors "getting out of racing" at the "corporate level" but the reality is that Chevy and General Motors never HAD "factory race teams" or even "factory support" of "independent dealers" and their "dealer" race teams. The "What wins on Sunday sells on Monday." schtick/spiel must have been thought up by Ford guys who didn't/don't have a clue about the "car business" or RACING in the U.S. at the time since there was no "Win on Sunday" with all "major" and "sanctioned" drag and stock car races happening on SATURDAYS. Sunday, sabbath, day of rest....etc.
At least in most of the U.S. Maybe the "heathens" out in "Cali" played on Sunday but another giant myth is that California was the "epicenter" of all things "high-performance" as far as "hot-rodding" goes and "aftermarket" parts with "Detroit" serving the same role for "factory performance". And nobody with a real job ever went "car shopping" on a weekday much less MONDAY i.e. the first day of business AFTER the weekend. To be a "businessman" or even an "employee" and be seen "car shopping" on a MONDAY or any other WEEKDAY was a sure sign that you were making WAY TOO MUCH MONEY THE REST OF THE WEEK and didn't "need" anybody who couldn't afford a new car or at least couldn't afford to go buy one on a WEEK DAY to give you THEIR business whatever business you or your employer were in.
Not to mention the idea that anybody but maybe spoiled "rich kids" who were sons of "Ford executives" with a "corporate discount" would ever rush to buy a "winning" race car for the "street" may make sense to "car guys" stupid enough not to know when cars are actually bought and sold and why, but everybody else who has "been there and done that" and has purchased multiple vehicles for primary transportation and for practical rather than "pleasure" driving isn't quite that "gullible". We're also not "gullible" enough to believe if those Fords "back in the day" were so
"hot" and "special" and "rare", they wouldn't be so "common" today and then and now wouldn't NEED so much complete fucking PROPAGANDA to "sell" them. And Ford wouldn't have had to build "race engines" that never actually made it into "production cars". The SOHC "Cammers"? Never even were "raced" much less put in "production". And wouldn't even have been "experimented with" had their "427 side-oiler" ancestors been "up to the challenge" of beating GM/Mopar "competition".
GM in general and Chevrolet in particular didn't NEED that "publicity" associated with "high performance" for many reasons but mainly because from WWII on Chevrolet proceeded to "destroy" Ford's sales, markets, popularity and overall "public image" with tons of help from Ford itself and the "make it as cheap as possible, ram it down our loyal customers' throats and make it impossible to "change brands" once driving a Ford by making "resale value" and "trade-in value" fantasies only another Ford dealer/Ford vehicle will make come true" approach.
Chevrolet built its 50 MILLIONTH PASSENGER CAR in 1958 and was WAY ahead of Ford in "sales" and "production" all by itself with most of the Olds/Pontiac/Buick "high-performance" efforts being GM "infighting" over who was going to "replace" Mercury the way Chevy replaced Ford AND trying to "win back" B-O-P customers who'd "traded down" to CHEVROLETS.
That the Pontiac "GTO" was the "first muscle car" is HILARIOUS since the Chevy Impalas packing even the "lowly" 348 big-block much less the famous "409" (both engines were "truck engines" long before "high-performance" passenger car engines and the "mystery motor" that ended up being the 396 and later "grew" into the 427 and 454 was mainly a "mystery" because no new Chevy big-block HAD shown up in Chevy medium-duty trucks) were damned sure "muscle cars" if any "GTO" was.
Especially since the "GTO" was just the Pontiac "answer" to the Chevy "SS" package but aimed AT fighting Ford and Mopar for a far-distant "2nd place" behind the Chevy "Impala SS" and the other Chevy full-size 2-door sedans/hard-tops/convertibles. Sorry, no "coupes" in Chevy full-size 2-doors -but only in the "mid-size" Chevy "Nova" chassis which included the Chevy II and eventually "grew into" the Camaro. That's right. A Camaro is/was a "Nova" under the new sheet metal back the the same way a "Mustang" is/was nothing but a RESKINNED FALCON.
The Mustang exists because Ford bet huge and WRONG on the Falcon "family" and at the worst possible time since it had to "compete" against the Nova/Chevy II and was supposed to be Ford's
"salvation" as Ford conceded the "full-size market" to Chevy along with the light-duty and medium-duty truck markets and the "Edsel" - which was going to be an entire new "marque'" rather than just a "model" was Ford's "response" to the "Tri-5" Chevys and we all know how that worked out.
And Ford and the "Ford Family" were forced to "eat crow" and let an "outsider" by the name of Lee Iacocca "design" the "new Mustang" by reskinning the Falcon and adding some wheelbase and trackwidth. It sold "huge" because Ford forced it down dealers' throats, sold huge numbers of them as "fleet cars" and because it was the first "new" Ford product that wasn't a complete "flop" from an engineering/design/equipment/pricing/marketing standpoint for DECADES.
But since an "outsider" had to "save" Ford Motor Company and by "simply" coming up with a "Nova copy" based on the Falcon chassis, Ford or rather the "Ford Family" has always privately detested the Mustang. Which is why its NEVER been "upgraded", has been "canceled" ONCE only to be "replaced" by the "Mustang II" and was NEARLY "canceled" multiple times since then including plans to shitcan the current "Mustang platform/chassis" (which other than some use of IRS suspension is literally still the same shitty old Falcon/Fairmont "chassis" and front suspension underneath several "generations" of "new" sheet metal) after the 2017 model year and slap the "Mustang name/brand" on a Focus-platform 2-door AWD "econobox" freeing up the "Coyote" for the low-production "GT" and giving Ford HUGE and MUCH-NEEDED "breathing room" in CAFE standards/requirements.
Ford HAS NO "popular" and "compact" highly fuel-efficient cars, has NOTHING "hybrid" much less "EV", the "500" platform/chassis "replacement" for the "Interceptor/Crown Vic/Town Car" platform was a complete disaster and Ford is so SCREWED when it comes to CAFE it had to settle for a V6 in its "supercar" GT.
Ford has the same problems today it's had since "Day One". A "CEO" and "Board of Directors" far too eager to believe Ford's own PR, propaganda and bullshit viz a vi the "superiority" of its "engineering" and "performance" and "appeal" to "customers" who stopped having a "lack of options" and stopped being "stuck with Ford" back when a former Ford Motor Company employee by the name of Chevrolet got tired of the "genius" Henry Ford - who not only didn't invent the "car" he also didn't invent "assembly lines" or "interchangeable parts" and was a ultimately a FAILURE in every "venture" he tried where he didn't have a "monopoly" to exploit and "ran off" engineers and designers that other companies eagerly "snapped up" figuring anybody that Ford let "get away" not only had brains but "balls" enough to tell Henry where to stick his big bank accounts and "investors" also eagerly "supported" for the same reason - and decided to take a swing at building a "working man's car" that not only was "cheap" and "reliable", but also "made to order" in so far as Chevrolet decided to build the cars that Ford "customers" who had the money and means to pay more to get more had been asking Ford for since about the third year of Model T production with absolutely no change in "options" or "technology" or "styling" or "convenience".
What sells on SATURDAY - which is when people who WORK FOR A LIVING GO "CAR SHOPPING" - is what they see on the STREETS AND ROADS AND HIGHWAYS AND NEIGHBORS' DRIVEWAYS AND NOT IN THE "GARAGES" AND "REPAIR SHOPS" AND "SCRAPYARDS" OF THEIR HOMETOWNS DAY IN AND DAY OUT AND SEE NEW MODELS OF LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT THEY'RE NOT BUYING A "NEW" MAKE/MODEL OF CAR THAT IS ALREADY YEARS OLD AND "USED" THE DAY THEY DRIVE IT OFF THE LOT.
And the other thing truly STUPID about the "factory racing/factory-supported racing" mythology of "what wins sells" is you have to be really moronic to spend tons of money to go around the country competing and racing against and beating CURRENT AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WHO ARE "LOCAL" AND "AMATEUR" AND SELF-SUPPORTED/SUFFICIENT/FUNDED "PRIVATEERS" WHO DAMNED SURE AREN'T GOING TO PAY TO BUY NEW VEHICLES AND "PERFORMANCE PARTS" FROM MANUFACTURERS/DEALERS THEY HAVE TO "COMPETE WITH" ON THE WEEKENDS.
Nor do any or have any Ford dealers EVER save a few "performance dealers" EVER "stocked" performance vehicles/parts "willingly" because THEY'RE not going to "compete with" Ford's" factory/factory-backed "racing" teams/dealerships/programs either because Ford always "plays favorites" and "bends rules" and "buys officials" and "participates" in "racing" at the factory level ONLY AS LONG AS IT BENEFITS "FORD MOTOR COMPANY" AND FORD IS "BEATING" GM/CHEVROLET "PRIVATEERS" AND THEN WHEN EVEN HOLDING ALL THE CARDS ISN'T ENOUGH AND FORD IS LOSING AND/OR GETTING INVESTIGATED OR DISQUALIFIED OR OTHERWISE SANCTIONED "IN THE PITS" OR "SALES" AREN'T SUPPORTING THE "WHAT WINS SELLS" CROCK OF SHIT "NARRATIVE" AND THE "FORD FAMILY" WHICH STILL HAS "CONTROL" OVER FOMOCO DESPITE ONLY A VERY TINY MINOR FRACTION OF "STOCK" ONLY BECAUSE NOBODY ELSE IS "GOOD ENOUGH" AND "INVESTORS" HAVE NO INTEREST IN SUPPORTING A TRUE "PUBLICLY TRADED" FOMOCO, FORD "BAILS" ON "MOTORSPORTS" OR "PERFORMANCE MODELS" AND CERTAIN TYPES OF "RACING" AND FORD DEALERS, DISTRIBUTORS AND CUSTOMERS ARE LEFT HOLDING THE BAG AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN "WORTHLESS" HARDWARE.
And if you don't believe Ford Family members HATE the Mustang and will "cancel" it in a heartbeat if they get the chance, just ask yourself this. How many Mustangs have been built with "FORD" and the BLUE OVAL PROMINENTLY FEATURED ON THE "EXTERIOR" AND VISIBLE "INTERIOR" OF MUSTANGS? VERY DAMNED FEW. Meanwhile, Ford had no problem and still doesn't letting "Shelby" and "Rousch" and "Hurst" and several other "tuners" put THEIR names on "Ford Mustangs". Of course they're all "owned and operated and financed" under the table BY Ford Motor Company and always have been as a way to "work around" the various "issues" that make associating the "family" and "family name" and especially the "family finances" and the "funds" provided by "investors" all over the world who also have "family names/fortunes/reputations" to "protect", but still Ford would rather NOT "claim" what is supposedly an "iconic" so-called "sports car". When its not a "pony car" or "muscle car" or "performance car" or "race car" or "track car" etc.
Too bad the Mustang has always been and apparently will continue to be nothing but a "2-door sedan". And Ford's vaunted "427 side-oiler" will remain nothing but a "race only" STRAIGHT TRUCK/PICKUP TRUCK/PASSENGER CAR ENGINE only "exotic" and "special" in the minds of Ford fanboys who are highly impressed by 289s and 390s and think "390 hp" is BIG POWER when "back in the day" the "hot" Chevy 327 was FACTOR RATED AT 350 HP and the "hot" 350 was factory-rated at 375 HORSEPOWER and NEITHER NEEDED "SOLID LIFTER CAMS" OR MULTIPLE CARBURETORS TO PULL IT OFF AND THERE NEVER WERE ANY "RACE ONLY" CHEVY ENGINES.
Forget the "big-cube" big-blocks including the Chevy 427 "L88" and "ZL-1" ENGINES AND THEIR CORVETTE AND "COPO CAMARO" FACTORY "PERFORMANCE CAR" VEHICLE "HOMES". FORD WAS JUST DESPERATELY TRYING TO "KEEP UP WITH" ORDINARY WORKING MEN AND THEIR "HOBBY CARS" THEY WERE "BUILDING" DURING THE WEEK AFTER WORK WITH PARTS RIGHT FROM THE LOCAL CHEVY DEALERSHIP AND WERE DRIVING TO THE TRACK ON THE WEEKEND, SPANKING FORD FACTORY/FACTORY-SUPPORTED ASS WITH ON THE WEEKENDS AND THEN DRIVING HOME AGAIN. AND WERE "FINANCING" MAINLY WITH "DISPOSABLE INCOME" EARNED AND WON FROM "FORD GUYS" WHO TRIED TO BEAT THEIR CHEVY "DAILY DRIVERS" ON THE STREET AND THEN WHEN THEY DIDN'T HAVE MUCH LUCK AND FOUND OUT THE "CHEVY GUY" WAS A LOCAL "MECHANIC" EITHER FOR THE CHEVY DEALER OR HIS OWN "GARAGE" OR BOTH PAID THE "CHEVY GUY" TO GET THEIR FORD "PERFORMANCE CAR" RUNNING "GOOD ENOUGH" TO MAKE A DECENT SHOWING AT THE "DRAGS" OR "CRUISE NIGHT" SO THEY COULD SELL IT AND MAKE ENOUGH "PROFIT" TO GO PUT MONEY DOWN ON A NEW CHEVROLET.
Again, what SELLS is what "wins" on the STREET and stays OUT OF THE REPAIR SHOP and doesn't come with big-buck, nationwide "marketing/advertising campaigns" and what the manufacturer and local dealer "stand behind" and support and keep "current" and maintain FACTORY PARTS/SERVICE FOR while being ready, willing and able to provide "performance parts" at "factory stock part" PRICES. Its NEVER been necessary to go to a Ford "SVO" dealer/tuner to get "performance parts" and there has NEVER been a "premium" put on "performance" parts OR vehicles themselves in order to "tax" somebody wanting to go out and make the manufacturer's/dealers PRODUCTS LOOK "GOOD" WHILE MAKING HIS/HER OWN PERSONAL RIDE LOOK GOOD.
Like I said, it takes a special kind of stupid to compete with your own customers. Just like it takes a special kind of "stupid" when it comes to "high performance" to be impressed by a dual-quad, 13:1, 427 cubic inch big-block "race engine" making a whopping "+550 hp" (the PLUS SIGN GOES AFTER THE "NUMBER", Speed Racer) with all that "factory support" and not "get" that Ford didn't even put THOSE ENGINES IN "FORD" STOCK CARS BUT INSTEAD CALLED THEM "MERCURY" CARS/ENGINES. Ford only "factory supported" the vaunted "427" in DRAG RACING AND THAT ENDED AS SOON AS "PRIVATEERS" WITH "HOME-BUILT" CHEVYS STARTED SPANKING FORD ASS HARD WITH THOSE LITTLE OLD 396s THAT YOU COULD BUY ALL DAY LONG AS "CRATE ENGINES" FROM ANY CHEVY DEALER IN THE COUNTRY AND PAY "LIST PRICE" FOR THEM JUST LIKE YOU WERE BUYING A STOCK CAMSHAFT FOR A 265 SMALL-BLOCK FOR YOUR ALMOST TEN YEAR OLD "SHOEBOX" '55 CHEVY.
Ford's "factory racing programs" have NEVER used ANYTHING remotely "stock" or "factory" for "stock car racing" and only win when Ford is helping "write the rules" and/or is a "major sponsor" of or the CREATOR of the "class" or "organization" or "association". Ever heard of a Chevrolet/GM "version" of "Formula Ford"? Hell, Ford hasn't ever even TRIED to "push" or even "qualify" its vaunted "modular V8s" as "race engines" including the supposedly "new: so-called "Coyote". And all of Ford's "NASCAR" success has come whenever major "rule changes" and/or "new divisions" and/or major rules and changes to "improve safety" and/or "lower costs" and/or "improve fuel efficiency" have given Ford the opportunity to help write/re-write the "rules" again. Go look under the hood of a "Ford Focus" Cup car and try to ignore the fact that there is no such thing as a 2-door Ford Focus RWD V-8 powered vehicle PERIOD and just look at the Ford "technology" under the hood and if you know anything about "NASCAR" and Chevrolet engines and "small-block" Chevrolets and the Chevrolet NASCAR "SB2" and "SB2.2" you might notice that Ford and "Rousch" pretty much made a Chevy SB2.2/Dodge NASCAR engine "hybrid" and its more or less built on what amounts to a "Powerstroke diesel" block that's not even remotely similar to any Ford V-8 "passenger car" engine ever made.
But things are going to change now that Ford is going to run the "Mustang" in NASCAR Cup races instead of the "lower levels" and Chevrolet teams are running a Camaro that is an actual CAMARO instead of a "Car of Tomorrow" with "decals" to make it look "Camaro-ish". Seems like Ford should be "forced" to run a "mod motor" and Chevys SHOULD be allowed to run "LS" engines and just maybe "stock car racing" and a REAL "Ford vs. Chevy" situation with "factory race programs" both with their "latest and greatest" technology and hardware will go "head to head" for the FIRST TIME EVER.
It damn sure hasn't EVER worked out for Ford in the past even competing against Chevy "privateers" and the Mustang in particular has been nothing but Camaro-fodder although beating the Falcons/Fairmonts with that PATHETIC chassis and front suspension has never been a "challenge" either in straight lines or "through the twisties". The only Ford "stock" cars that have EVER handled even remotely "well" have done so with lightweight small-block cam-in-block 2-valve "obsolete" engines up front and IRS or NASCAR "truck arm" REAR SUSPENSION.
And for the record, that NASCAR rear suspension that's been "standard equipment" for NAS"Cup" cars longer than the "Chrysler Hemi" has been "standard equipment" for NHRA "Top Fuel" cars (Top Fuel AND Funny Cars both are "Top Fuel" cars) is called the "truck arm" suspension because it was "standard equipment" under Chevrolet and GMC 2wd light trucks (1/2-ton and 3/4-ton) from 1960 though the 1972 model year with leaf-spring rear suspension being "optional equipment". And all the GM "big-block" trucks including the "Custom Camper" and "Cheyenne Super" trucks had it.
And of course the "Chrysler Hemi" started out as an INDUSTRIAL/TRUCK ENGINE before finding its way into Chrysler Corporation's heaviest and heavy-dutiest passenger cars. The difference between Ford and Chevy and even Chrysler is that Chevy and Chrysler used "truck parts" in their "performance cars" and it was the "organizing/regulating bodies" of NASCAR and the NHRA that "adopted" what was obviously "superior" technology and designs mainly so GM in particular would be "forced" to keep in production factory parts like those "truck arm" suspension parts back in the day when they were still "stock cars" as far as the "chassis" went so that "Brand X" racers and Ford Motor Company could "keep up" and use GM "truck parts" to keep up with GM "stock cars" even when blowing 99% of their "budgets" on "stock" Ford engines.
Of course starting in about 1966 the GM "A-body" chassis became a rear-coil sprung "four-link" rear suspension design too. And that's when "truck arm" rear suspension became "legal" for everybody. And its when Ford decided to "change course" viz a vi "NASCAR" and ran back to the NHRA for one glorious year prior to the Camaro showing up. Then Ford ran to "Trans Am" racing. And "dominated" for a season or two until the "Z28" Camaro showed up with its 302 Chevy engine that pretty much did then and will still now make a Ford 302 look as pathetic by comparison as a Chevy 350 makes Ford 351s look and Chevy 427s make Ford 427s look.
Like I said, Ford fanboy are easily impressed and very "informed" on Ford's version of "history" but sure don't have any long-term "track record" of even continuous Ford "factory" participation in major "national" motorsports competition to brag about and their claims that GM/Chevrolet "left" or "abandoned" or "walked away from" factory/factory-supported "competition" they never JOINED IN THE FIRST PLACE is just hilarious. At least for Chevy guys. Its kind of sad for Ford guys, though. Just like a whopping "+550 hp" from the "pinnacle" of Ford "factory race engine" performance.

So after having gotten FH5 for Christmas about a week-and-a-half ago I finally ended the game after beating the Goliath on Expert with the Jaguar XJR-15 after having beaten the others except The Juggernaut. The thing is, the game felt almost too fast sometimes; I'm primarily an NFS player (I haven't played a Forza game for longer than a few hours since Motorsport 4) so I'm not too used to all the stuff the Forza Horizon games throw at you.
The physics are kinda fun and a nice escape from the Brake-2-Driftness but they have a hell of a learning curve. Getting nice cars all the time was also partly cool and stuff and yeah, I can see why everyone hates the emotes and cosmetics crap, but of course, Forza is a much more casual type of game (in the sense of gameplay). The map looks really nice and has good variety; I especially had a lot of fun doing the expeditions and discovering new places although the trees are really freaking annoying (they're the reason why I haven't three-starred The Juggernaut). The festivals seem fun at times but they're mostly pretty lifeless and sometimes I even wonder if they're really even celebrating cars and car culture itself or just standing in random spots literally just waiting until you come.
Needless to say, getting all those cars really did break the fun in progression (on just the second day of playing I got a Huayra BC and it only got crazier from there) and I could barely stick to one car which was a bit jarring, although that's probably me being used to grinding thousands of dollars just to mod one car in NFS. (And I thought I was spoiled whenever I got any supercar/hypercar in Heat)
The soundtrack had some good stuff and I found myself searching a few songs up from Pulse, Bass Arena, and XS, but it wasn't anything too interesting and it was quite obnoxious to hear the freaking censors every 5 seconds (especially The Struts' "Wild Child"; they absolutely butchered that song) which just ruined a few songs for me. Speaking of sound, the car sounds were sort of a mixed bag n my opinion, and there was quite a few cars I drove that sounded pretty similar when stock and even when modded, but hey, what racing game doesn't?
In the area of personalization, coming in from NFS I knew that since there's nearly 5X the cars in Forza, there wasn't going to be much exterior customization, so I won't say I was underwhelmed but I can see why fans of Forza constantly ask PG for more bodykits and parts, which makes NFS players seem a bit spoiled in that area as well.
As for "the main story", you can pretty much beat the game without barely having to do events. Hell, I freaking did all the showcases and expeditions until the big four events showed up and I had only done like 20 or so of the races by that point and felt that was too fast, so I had to hold out for so long doing every event in every festival outpost because completionism of course, and doing that only screwed it up because I was going through side missions and events I should have done way earlier. Eventually I got into the Hall Of Fame before I had even beaten The Goliath, so I basically ruined it for myself as well.
Overall, the game is great and all and there are your definite pros and cons to it, but it was definitely worth the play.
(P.S. The ending was pretty damn underwhelming, I've won the Colossus, the Titan, and the Goliath, but do I have to 3-star the Juggernaut to trigger the game ending?)

I dunno what it is between Skilled and Expert, the difference between them seems disproportionate to all other difficulty modes - a good example is in a sprint on Skilled, I took first place at 21%, on Expert I couldn't even get past 6th and first was so far ahead I could only see them on the minimap. Normally I'd just accept I'm not good enough for that difficulty, however skilled is too easy.
So wondering what do people recommend I change ? Aside from git gud ha. At first I did what I did in 4 - I focused on handling rather than engine power to boost my rating, as the corners are the place you typically take the lead, and having good braking and distribution there won the races. But in 5 the cars are so much faster than mine! I tried switching it round and put the upgrades into engine instead, and the opposite issue was killing me - doing OK on straights (getting closer but them still outpacing me) but then absolutely getting ruined on the corners. I typically try to keep my upgrades limited to either the same ranking, or at most 1 above (so my C car I'll only boost to B etc.), should I not upgrade as much ? Should I upgrade more ? Not really a fan of upgrades tbh as it kinda defeats the purpose of playing in that car if you just make it like all supercars!
So yeah, any tips would be appreciated. I'm not too bothered if they don't lead to me winning, as I know I need to practice and get better. But not being able to break into the top 3 and being 5-10s behind first place is a bit daft.

Hi
It has been a long time since I played racing games so I am out of the loop, remembering 20 years back playing Grand Tourismo 3, oh boy I was young.
I'm specifically looking for modern games that can be played on Windows 10 with good content of what I would say Street legal cars that are stock (would be nice if modifications are possible).
I'm thinking about getting a setup with manual stick and paddles with clutch to experience 'slow'/low-end cars to give myself a realistic attempt at car racing. I don't imagine myself driving hyper or supercars where I just tap the shifter behind the steering wheel.

I just don’t understand why something becoming open world means the mechanics of a game need to be changed? Tf...
I finally got my i9/3080 HTPC Console back from warranty service and after months of being stuck with nothing short of a Mac and Retroarch (at least it gave me a reason to burn through the bulk of the Resident Evil games... remakes up next now that I have my system back) and wanted to add some new games to my library...
...I loved Forza 2 growing up. It was the first racing game I ever bought for myself (though I had plenty of hand-me-downs from Ivan Ironman’s Super Off Road to various Gran Turismos and finally Project Gotham) and wanted to check out one or more of the current titles.
So I looked up a description of Horizon and it sounded amazing! No tracks? Open world? Go wherever you want? Yes please!
...except it’s not the Forza style, it’s an “arcade racer”? What exactly does that mean concretely? What differences in mechanics/control are that different from “regular Forza”?
I tried to watch videos on YouTube to decide, but every clip is a damn Lamborarri style supercar playing like they’re in a modern day version of Cruisin’ USA... is that how the game actually is? Is there no “simulation mode” where I have to start of with a Ford Pinto and earn my way up to a supercar?
If not, are there any open-world racing games where it actually feels like you’re driving in the original Forza style? Or are there mods that can alter the game so it’s more simulation like? If so, which one would be best? I can give 1 or 2 a try on Xenia, but I’d prefer to play natively on Win10 and decide between 3, 4, and/or 5
The Forza Horizon 5 game files are just sitting on my debrid account, but I’m not wasting 50 gigs for something that’s just going to be a world’s different than what I’d want to play.
..
TLDR: open world racer with real world mechanics? What would be best?

Vazirani is an Indian supercar startup and they have built 2 different cars, the 'Shul' and 'Ekonk'. Vazirani claims to have made the Ekonk only weigh 738KG which is basically the same as a Smart Fortwo and it has 722 Buff Horses. They say that their batteries are a ' solid-state Direct Cooling solution developed using nano-particle technology.' which meant they eliminated 70% of battery cooling components. So far, I haven't heard anything about Vazirani. I'm an Indian and I'm really excited for Vazirani because no Indian car company has ever made anything sporty, so I really hope they're not vaporware. I think Jeremiah should make a video on this because it's pretty insane that there hasn't been any talk about Vazirani or their cars or their battery tech. Lots of car enthusiasts dream (or even own) a "supercar" sports car. For me, I've always dreamed of owning a 1980's Lamborghini Countach - I had it on a poster on my bedroom wall. (there are certainly other great cars from that era but I most remember the Lamborghini)
I've often thought it would be fun to own a car like that, but what do you *do* with a $50K - $150K (or more!) exotic supercar?
Take it on weekend fun drives in good weather? Go to car shows (do you trailer it or drive it there)? Take it to the track to show it off? Play pranks on people by using it to give Uber rides?
How do you budget how much it would cost to keep a 20 or even 40 year old exotic car running?
How do you learn to drive it safely? I assume that it's pretty east to wrap a car like this around a tree on a windy road if you get too aggressive with the throttle.
I'm not what you'd call a car enthusiast, so maybe this is one of those "if you have to ask, you don't want to do it" questions.

Like all of us, I love cars. I love everything about them and can talk about them ad nauseum. Not just high end supercars but the everyday grocery getters as well.
I've watch most of the big car reviewers and always wondered whether or not I could do it. Not the dealership shills (Not calling anyone out) but the real reviewers who seem to share the same passion for cars that we all do.
I may not be someone who makes videos but maybe someone who writes about cars?
Welcoming any thoughts, suggestions, and/or hurtful comments.

Are you the type of driver that likes to win? Are you always looking for ways to improve your skills? Do you always look at the replays of your races to see what you could have done better? Do you want to join a group of like-minded drivers to push for the top step of the podium?
If you answered yes to those questions, we want YOU to join Hat Trick Racing! Hat Trick Racing is a new team that plans to debut at the 2022 24 Hours of Daytona in late January. While we enjoy racing, we find the real fun is in knowing that we gave a race everything we had. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to pushing hard to get to the top step of the podium. Most importantly we are looking for class act drivers. You don't have to be an alien, but we expect you be clean and collected and have a touch of humility if you mess up. We aren't here to point fingers, we are here to process our mistakes, learn from them, and do better the next time.
Hat Trick Racing is founded on the idea of always learning, always improving, and never stopping. We believe in the power of facts and numbers, which is why we rely heavily on data and information. Coaching and mutual growth is foundational to our success as a team, so we want all of our drivers to want to help each other, so being a team player will be crucial to your success in this team.
What is our schedule?
We plan to run most, if not all of the official Special Events for team endurance races. This includes the Daytona 24, Bathurst 12, Sebring 12, Nurburgring 24, Watkins Glen 6, Spa 24, Bathurst 1000, Petit Le Mans, and the Suzuka 10, and of course some type of running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, even if it isn't official. Beyond that we want to support any drivers that choose to run other individual special events, official races, or private leagues.
What are our official cars?
Our officially supported cars will be the Porsche 919 for LMP1, the Dallara P217 for LMP2, Porsche 911 RSR for GTE, Porsche 911 GT3 R for GT3, Porsche 718 Cayman for GT4, and Audi RS3 for TCR. We will also officially support the Dallara IR18 for Indycar, the Ford Mustang GT in V8 Supercars, and all Ford cars in any of the NASCAR series. Beyond that we will have varying support depending on what car and series it is.
Driver requirements
- Be able to communicate in English, preferably in both text and voice
- Reliable to the best of your ability
- No iRating requirement, we can help you improve, you will be placed with similarly paced drivers each race
- C class license minimum for every team based event you plan to participate in
- 18 years or older
We are open to road, oval, and dirt drivers, but right now have a priority need for road drivers. Drivers of all races, genders, and nationalities are welcome. Non-United States time zones are welcome, we already have a few international drivers and would like to have more!
If you have experience with spotting, coaching, team organization/management, or setup building we especially want you, but is not necessary. Drivers who want to be involved with this team but can't make a full commitment are welcome to inquire about being a backup or support driver.
If this sounds like a team you want to be involved with comment below or send me a message here on Reddit and we can talk details!
