TL;DR: I've uploaded a tuning spec for the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, a car you get for free as you level up road racing events, that should easily give you wins for the Cheeky Lambos summer event right now, which has you race other modern era S1 900 Lamborghinis, as well as win any other S1/modern supercar events. Just search for tuning specs under the car and look for my gamertag, shinigami, or the name of the save, "Win Summer Event." Tuned for max downforce and monster grip for high G turning at a loss of only 5mph off the top end with zero downforce, neutral handling, close gear ratio, definitely lets you break and apex later than the suggested line.

I'm pretty certain the majority of Horizon players never tune their cars, and Horizon 4 has even more people new to the franchise, new to Forza, and new to racing games in general, especially because of the reviews and Game Pass. That being said, I would expect most Ultimate Edition buyers to be returning players.

That being said, from what I've been seeing in the Summer seasonal events, most people playing right now don't tune their cars. They don't even use the auto upgrade system, so they race their 833 Gallardos and end up like headless chickens at the end of the 12 bull run. It's fine for single player exhibition races, but it doesn't work for online events where there are going to be higher difficulty AI NPCs with cars set for the event power cap. Every race, a number of players quit midway after they realize they can't keep up versus the pack running at 900, which throws the game for everyone else trying to finish the event.

I've raced the Cheeky Lambos event over half a dozen times -- it's fast and easy money and influence. As a team, I've also won it only once, even though I personally place first in the races. If you don't want to tune your car, can y'all please at least spend the single minute to upgrade your cars to 900? Or at least finish the races you start, so the other five people who join you don't lose by default? Danke.
