So the first DLC has been anounced to be in development. I've been saying since i finished the game back in december 2020, that the DLC's should be the lifepaths themselves. Because at this point it's known that lifepaths are irrelevant the only story is the streets kid's story, if you think about it , it makes absolute no sense that you always end up being jackie's friend (corpo or nomad) , having "a different background". So why not make a dlc about each lifepath? I honestly think that would enhance the rpg element this game has, and with how greatly written and inmersive the game is, you could easily rol your role in night city, for example these are my ideas of what each lifepath could change or add:

-In general:

●All items and vehicles should be repriced, so each lifepath makes sense (its a bit weird that a nomad , who is suposed to survive by their own means and with few resourves but their crew). Can end up with 3M edies and supercar that "only 10 people in the world has"

New stories:

Corpo (I think this should be the first DLC , I'll explain why later). -Should start with the cheapest luxury car. -Should work only for corpos and rich people: For example being a hitman (Killing high prestige stars, enemy businessmen, hacking and irrumping other empresses so it worseness their stockmarket, etc...) (Could ally with Arasaka, Militech or the corpo from the intro) -Their apartment should be one of the luxury flats.

/I've always imagined that the corpo lifepath sould focus on trying to become the more succesful corpo and to have the best empress or try to become the nexy monopoly (would make sense in CP2077 distopia), and there could be the message, with one ending you getting screwed by your greed or a bad ending were you end up being a succesful businessman and control night city/

-Nomads: (This should come with the badlands expansion) -Your house would be a campament in the badlands, it could be changing locationd depending the plot (like in RDR2 or >with the aldecaldos<) -Should start with the intro car (like in-game) but instead of breaking it to repair it later , just keep it as we would do with the sedan from the actual game. -Missions should be 90% concentrated in the (expanded) badlands, so it would really feel like going to night city is a long journey to do. -The main focus should be with clans and families. Instead of loosing the OG clan of V (in the nomad path from the intro) . You could start with them >and later have problems with them like with panam< and then decide to stay , leave or join another one. Imagine having a clan war against the Aldecados, wouldnt that be such an interesting moment? Or joining/allying all clans in one to rule de badlands? -Missions could be about stealing military equipment from militech, robbing and doing heists, defending the badlands from militech purges, etc...

/I always imagined that the nomad lifepath should focus on the family (clan), and the life in the road, imagine a good badlands map were offroading would feel great, that would give sense to the phrase "the strongest nomad weapon is its vehicle" , were ending should be more focused on honor and family >as with the pnm ending< or a bad ending in were the clan war destroys you and your clan"

I know this is a lot of effort and programing + writting, but IMHO opinion WE deserve this for all the lies, and if it is a huge anual DLC like this, they would just need: Programing, VA and Writting, textures , models , sounds and basic stuff are already in the game so they wouodnt have that much work.
