We didn't want to go for the same type of Indiana Jones/Lara Croft/ Jurassic world type of vehicles so I thought out of the box and thought of space exploration! So presenting the Spif-XA1!
if u didn't notice, there's a laser gun! (optional) (the only passenger can control)
Space exploration IS related to adventure. Exploration. Star Trek, isn't that an epic adventure?
Vehicle Summary: There's a flying and landing mode because this vehicle can land or take off vertically! (VTOL)(optional feature)
This vehicle can fit two people. They are under the black windows, driver in front, passenger behind. The passenger seat person will take control over the laser gun, as it will be too op if the driver got to control it. Again, this is optional.
Vehicle Features:
The stuff on the sides are glowing generators (u can't really see but we made it glow in blender) and pipes feeding out to the engine and laser gun. (the generators are cosmetic)
Its top speed hopefully is between the Little bird and the free Helicopter.
The Spif-XA1 has the same moving system as the Jet/Stunt Plane.
VTOL mode: While it is in VTOL mode, it would have a speed lower than bruhcar and the max height of the Crew Capsule. You can control it like a normal helicopter there, then afterwards you can press a button(for example X) to get it to start up as it should.
Laser guns: They can be controlled by the passenger ONLY. This is because it will be way too op if it was controllable by the driver. They work somewhat like the plasma pistol, except there are two guns with 16 ammo total. The reload speed would be the same as the AK-47.
The VTOL mode and Laser guns are both optional features as Asimo did state that you should not expect special features to be added to your vehicle.
Inspiration:
Everyone has been making jeeps, trucks, supercars, and so on. Why not add a flying vehicle? So many posts, every day. Scrolling through the subreddit yet the only vehicles I see are jeep revamp or a new truck or something like that repeatedly. It felt uninspired and just because Asimo said in the contest brief that 'Indiana Jones' and jeeps and trucks and offroaders, everyone did that.
This is a space Explorer Jet. We made this in inspiration from Star Wars andIndependence Day: Resurgence.

We had exams and stuff over this time period, and we only started on blender just two days after Asimo made the post on the competition. So yes, this is our first build. Hope it looks good and you like it! My actual account is u/Curry1101.

lordofseven_seas' note: Yes, this is our first build. I'm u/coswhynot21. We spent a lot of time on this model. Hope you like it. This btw, is a together account, something like how Asimo and Badcc made an account Badimo for official stuff. Yeah, that. I, however, didn't think of that before posting my Magma texture. I will not repost it as, well, it would be a repost. So there you have it! Please upvote if you think it's good. It means a lot.
