Do they specifically choose modified cars that are slower than supercars ?

It seems like it’s be easy to beat modified Honda Odysseys and vans compared to lighter, more speed-focused cars.

I mean the Huracan and Ferrari 488s have a quarter mile time of like 10 seconds which is not that good by modified car standards. Why don’t they bring in cars than run 8s, or 7s or 6s that would absolutely demolish the supercars ?

Also the episode in which the guy who had a previous accident seemed kinda rigged to me. If it wasn’t my apologies but it was a weird coincidence.
