Becoming a pro seems like a fantasy to me. I’m almost 18 with zero racing experience(except from playing games like Forza and Project Cars). Too poor for karting and racing school. Currently in school trying to find a career that pays well so I can do racing as a hobby.
I just want to know what it’s like to do racing as an amateur. What types of cars do you race with? Can I race cars like GT or V8 supercars? Or are those only for the professionals? How much money do you spend a year? Can it be as fun as professional racing? Who do you race with? What tracks?
