Although I would no doubt love the game regardless if it was set in the 70s and 80s, I personally would be kind of disappointed. I find that with gta 6, it’s going to have unimaginable graphics (based on rdr2 of course) and with that being said i would much rather have those graphics for a modern setting where I can drive new lambos and Bugatti’s and paganis, as opposed to old lambos and old Ferraris which although are nice is something I don’t really look forward seeing in 4K or 8k depending on when gta 6 is released.

Maybe the 70s 80s rumour is false and gta 6 might be modern, although rockstar said it would be hard to make a gta game in today’s political and social climate. But I really want to see like forza horizon 4 level detail in new super cars in gta 6 rather than old cars, that’s probably the only thing holding me back. The story would be a lot better imo with older setting but I feel cars wouldn’t be as nice.

Again although I’m sure I’d enjoy the game regardless it’s just the cars that I might be disappointed with assuming it’s a 70s game

What do u guys think? Would u like a modern setting or a 70s/80s setting? Would the absence of modern supercars be disappointing (like the supercars of gta 5).
