Yes, this is for the 1986 supercar challenge. Damaged piston rings reduce my power to about 600hp.
According to the engine thermal debug UI app in BeamNG, the cylinder walls overheat as extreme power is maintained. As long as the temp is past 160 ⁰C, damage accumulates. Once enough damage accumulates, it is described as "piston rings damaged" and the torque of my engine is reduced.
