lamboblogging

Yes duplicates are annoying, but whatever it's cool. Ill overlook that for the time being. I personally noticed some things about this car list which are lets say less than ideal. First if you haven't you should read the full car list here

1

Okay so now that youve read it you have an idea what I'm gonna talk about. The first observation I made is a distinct lack of street trucks. All we have is massive off road trucks which are lifted like 10 feet off the ground. Which I find to be extremely weird considering the game takes place in the Southeastern US. Street trucks are a big deal in the US. you can't go to a car meet without finding a straight piped and modified street truck in the US let alone in the Southeastern US. Down below are a few street trucks I would have expected in a game like Heat

For the fast and the furious reference of course.

This also brings up another queation unrelated to the car list. Why can't we slam the big off road trucks to make them look more like a street truck? In the heat studio you could only lower the truck by like maybe half a foot or a full foot if even that.

The second observation is that there is a huuuuuge lack of lower end cars. I personally love to take low end cars and upgrade them like hell to keep up with lambs and raris. Something about beating those cars in grocery getter cars is cool to me. I'm sure I'm not alone in that either. There's just that charm to cars like that which a lamb or rari doesn't. Often times of the most beloved cars in NFS were the cheap and often times very unassuming starter cars we started with. Down below is a couple cars that would have been cool low end cars

When was the last time we had cars like that? Most Wanted 2005? Anyone else remember the Cobalt? This transtions me to another point tho. We also don't have any factory stock sleeper cars. What's the deal with that? I get the car list is small, but still. I'd love to customize a V8 powered 1999 Ford Taurus Sho for example.

So the biggest elephant is the room is the lack of JDM cars. We still haven't got any new JDM cars to fill the void that Toyota left behind. With Payback I could understand not having any cars to full that void, but 2 years in a row? There are a few cars which look exactly like Toyota vehicles. The Nissa S12 Hatch instantly comes to mind. And how about the lack of iconic JDM cars such as the 3000GT, Eclipse, other Subaru WRX models, etc. Instead we got more super cars which I didn't think we particularly needed considering that Payback had a good Supercar list despite the lack of Ferrari which if I'm honest I didn't even notice their absence too much. And the super cars they added aren't even the most popular super cars that could have been added. What about the Veyron and the Chiron? When I was a kid I always set a goal for myself to get the Bugatti in the game. I never cared much to try and get a lambo or a pagani cause they didn't have that same status as the Bugatti. So I guess that's my conclusion. The only real new cars they added were super cars. We got a few other cars, but mostly it's all super cars.

What are some issues you had reading over the list yourself? Maybe you liked the new additions if so please do talk about it.
