2020 Audi A6 Gets Four-Cylinder Power, Extra Standard Features

When the current generation Audi A6 arrived last year with a V-6 engine standard, we knew it was only a matter of time before a four-cylinder also joined the lineup. Enter the 2020 Audi A6 2.0T, which slots below the V-6-powered models and comes with a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 248 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, and pairs to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Audi says that the four-cylinder-powered A6 can hit 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

Like the rest of the 2020 A6 lineup, the four-cylinder model comes standard with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. It also comes with more standard features for the 2020 model year including LED headlights, lane departure warning, 19-inch alloy wheels, Audi’s new MMI interface with two touchscreens, navigation, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. The four-cylinder model is limited only to two grades, the base Premium model and the mid-level Premium Plus. Pricing starts at $55,095 for a 2020 Audi A6 2.0T Premium while the Premium Plus, which has more features, checks in at $58,795.

Audi added new features to option packages for 2020. A heated steering wheel now comes with the Convenience package, and the Executive package on the Premium Plus grade gains four-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a power operated trunk, and multi-color ambient lighting. The Black Optics package returns and adds a gloss black grille and window surrounds, and you can also upgrade to 20-inch wheels, which is a standalone option. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit is also available and can be had with Google Earth maps compatibility and 4G LTE connectivity.
