How much can supercars really pollute? First of all they are expensive and therefore rare. Secondly they are hardly driven compared to normal cars. Thirdly most have cylinder management that can shit down half the engine to save fuel. Fourthly in a lot of countries there exist a tax on performance cars which can be used to develop green energy methods. Lastly, electric cars aren't zero emissions. Sure they are zero emissions when on the road but the manufacturing of their batteries is very polluting.
