So I saw LPRipper's poll today and he was basically asking people if they think the hero car for the next game should be the M3 GTR or another car, and I personally feel like the NFS series relies WAAAAAAAAAY too much on nostalgia rn, literally, the entire selling point of NFS 2015 was that it was Underground inspired. And don't get me wrong, I'm all for looking back at NFS's past and it's sorely needed right now based on the fact that the characters and story in Payback cannot hold a candle to Razor and friends or even Darius. And I can't even say that game having a hero car in the first place, unless you count Lina's P1 or any of the street league cars. But let's be real, the original NFS Most Wanted is creeping up on it's 15th birthday and the first NFS Underground is already 15 years old, NFS won't be able to use "look what we did 13 years ago, don't it look familiar" as a way to draw players in forever, because we're going to get bored and fatigued and ask for something new. Here's just a few cars I think should carry NFS into the future, whether they be hero or villain vehicles :

New Honda NSX Just to drive the point home that NFS needs to redirect it's focus away from stuff they did over a decade ago, why not use a car that is brand spanking new to carry the series forward? Not only that, the Honda NSX is a car that blurs the line between JDM and Supercar, so you'd get the attention of both groups of fans.

1969/2019 Dodge Challenger R/T I can't remember the last time we saw a muscle car at the forefront of the NFS Series, they're underrepresented as it is and just as a sidebar, could someone in the comments explain why neither of these cars are seen in recent NFS games, the original Dodge Challenger is an icon in muscle car history. Plus Muscle cars always get people's attention anyway.

Ferrari 488 The oversaturation of supercars in NFS games is getting tiresome, but you just can't go wrong with a Ferrari. And I've already made my stance on Ferrari's cars in NFS games numerous times, so if this is going to be the new IT car for NFS then it needs to have a wrap and it needs to be modified in some way. Otherwise, Ferrari has no place in future NFS games.
