Yes, they make good products including Space X, but the egoistic nature of the CEO musk and the praise they get is too much. New roadster beating an Agera? Are you kidding me? While that electric battery is charging for the next hour, that Agera topped off and lapped you nearly forty times. Even changing the battery would take more time than filling up the car. Great vehicles? The guy charges you several thousand more for a feature that is already in your car but disabled by software. Link.
The worst has to be the “muh model S can outperform supercars in LUDICROUS MODEEE”. At the end of the day, you’re gonna be sitting at that charging station for 2 hours while every other supercar gets to drive home. Not to mention that your tax dollars are paying for a car that you will probably never afford or even want. Meanwhile any fanboy group will find you and attack you if you say anything cross about Tesla. All while Musk is sitting there laughing on his throne of money while setting up the company made out of your tax dollars.
What about Space X? Space X fails again and again and again.
Yet, people still praise Tesla/SpaceX for launching a car into space? Landing a rocket back down on a platform? Those minor successes all of the sudden are exploded out of proportion and all the many, many failures are just silenced. That and if you say anything, the fanboys will spam “everyone failz” and brigade anyone who points out any failure whether it’s constructive or not. This fad of following Tesla and worshiping them like they’re the future is just plainly stupid and I’m sick of hearing it everywhere.
