Smok’s at it again. New device, not surprising huh? Well this time it’s a pod device. When I got this device my first thought was: Woah someone at Smok has a Koenigsegg because this device sure looks like a key that unlocks a supercar. Smok Rolo Badge, that’s the name of the pod device, and it’s made from 2 parts, the pod and the mod. There is no button, and the mod fires when the user inhales. More details below.

Aesthetics:
As mentioned in the first paragraph, this kit looks like a Koenigsegg key. It can be purchased in a variety of colors, but I received the Prism Rainbow version and I must say, it is a fingerprint magnet. The mod is extremely shiny, and it has a Smok badge on the upper part of the front side. On the back of the battery, there is the Rolo logo and some certificates. The USB port is located on the side. The pod is tinted and it features 2 openings for filling. The kit is compact, small and lightweight, I sometimes forgot it’s in my pocket. On the lower part of the front side, there is a little hole with an LED light that shows the battery life and that turns on when the user inhales.
Smok Rolo Badge Performance:
In terms of performance, the device is pretty average. It can be activated by inhaling, it has no buttons. The pods are pretty messy to fill with normal unicorn bottles, this is why Smok includes a bottle with a thin metal nose, with this type of bottle refilling the pod is easy. The mod can misfire, no matter how hard you pull, it can sometimes fire for 0.3 seconds and then turn off and let you inhale air. Sometimes it can hit too hard. I had spit back problems with both included pods, not every puff, but every 10-15 puffs, be sure you can get some e-liquid in your mouth. I feel the device is not proportioned, maybe the mod outputs too much power for the pod’s coil because damn the vapor is hot. Regarding charging, I have no idea how a 250mAh battery can fully be charged in 5 hours, and I am NOT kidding, this thing charges so slow. Now regarding the way, this thing can be vaped. It’s an MTL device, true MTL, the DL hit is very restricted, but the MTL draw here is on point. And I am not recommending anyone to try DL on this device, the spit back, hot vapor will just destroy your vape experience.

Conclusion:
The Smok Rolo Badge is a good idea, but it has been executed poorly. It’s a good-looking, small and lightweight device. But it has some problems that can’t be ignored. It charges slowly, the vapor is either hot or it doesn’t hit no matter how hard you pull. It spits back a lot. With all these issues, the Rolo Badge remains just a good looking idea that is poorly executed.
