I'm getting a bit tired of reading about complaints about supercars with N stickers, as well as statements about buying a supercar for your university student kids being your own business.

Has anyone seen many supercars beyond two years old? Wonder why?

There are crazy huge import and luxury taxes for supercars in China. A 200k car here would be more than double in HK.

Once again, sneaky manoeuvres are at play to avoid taxes. A used supercar has significantly less tax compared to a new one, so rich people in China buy the cars over here, let the car get driven around by family here, hopefully without damage, and import them to China when the taxes are no longer applicable.

Fair enough, I'd probably do the same to save a few hundred thousand dollars.

I've heard of this happening from first hand reference on at least three occasions, including that Lamborghini Reventon.
