So after the terrible news that World Rallycross will go all electric and a spec series in 2020, I've just read that Global Rallycross has just taken an electric bolt gun and shot itself in the foot too?
For 2018 Supercars are gone, replaced by GRC Gold, a single spec class based on an upgraded version of the GRC Lites class. Then in 2019 a new GRC Platinum will arrive that is a single spec electric series.
Just when rallycross was heading back to the big time it shafts itself with spec series and kills all the noise. Sad face.
